INDE Electronics is the Canadian subsidiary company of Digital Electronics (Japan) and Schneider Electric (France). Our offices are located in Richmond, BC. We are a software research and development group creating products for the Pro-face, Schneider Electric and Télémécanique product families.
Located since 1990 in beautiful Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, INDE has grown steadily due to expanding market opportunities.
As part of a global organization, we manufacture, supply and service a series of industrial touch-screen computers and embedded platforms for use in industrial automation applications. Also known as Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), our touch-screens offer a visual, touch-sensitive user interface between the machine and operator. The typical application for HMI panels in a rugged environment is the replacement of machine control panels, where physical lights, switches and gauges become virtual.
The focus at INDE is on the software components associated with these automation products. Our team provides software solutions for all aspects of the industry, including:
- Web based products,
- A wide range of Microsoft Windows based tools,
- Embedded software components for the hardware devices,
- Hardware drivers for peripheral devices,
- Java components for distributed operation, and
- Communication components for wide connectivity.

Schneider Electric is a global organization, committed to the automation industry, providing a wide range of products to satisfy the total Customer requirements. INDE is a subsidiary of Schneider Electric, operating within the HMI product division.
INDE works closely with the marketing, sales and product management teams of Schneider Electric to shape the products required for the market. We also participate within the global support organization to provide around the clock support for our Customers.

INDE and Pro-face
The Pro-face Group of Companies is a global organization with offices in North America, Europe and Asia. The head office for the Pro-face team is centered in Osaka, Japan. Pro-face is a well-established player in the automation industry, with a leading position in industrial display technologies.
The hardware R&D and product manufacturing programs are mastered in Japan with Digital Electronics. Digital develops and manufactures HMI programmable display panels that let users control and monitor their systems in any environment.
INDE participates closely with this global R&D team, along with the Marketing, Sales and Support teams of Pro-face.
